Raw dumpsters are pulled from the shop floor after being assembled from steel sheeting and sprayed with a zinc coating to help deter rust. This is what gives raw Dumpsty dumpsters their matte gray finish. Due to the nature of unpainted steel, your Dumpsty will have variations in color and small areas of rust that will not harm your Dumpsty.
